Ed Pierce from Cascade Farm and Outdoor (formerly with Coos Grange and Grange Co-op) grew up in the Barview area between the communities of Empire and Charleston. He began working in his neighbor’s nursery next door at a very young age, watering 1,000 plants for the grand sum of ten cents a day.

He has a long experience with fertilizers and chemicals that are sometimes needed to keep rhododendrons and azaleas in the best of health. Ed will be giving us the benefit of his extensive experience, as well as recommendations for keeping our plants growing happily.
