The American Rhododendron Society is
a non-profit organization whose purpose is to encourage interest
in and to disseminate information about the genus Rhododendron.

Society activities include flower shows, plant sales, seed exchanges, scientific research, tours, conventions, educational presentations, workshops/demonstrations, public garden development/maintenance, discussions, propagation, hybridizing, plant registration, conservation/restoration, and social events.

The Society provides a medium through which people interested in rhododendrons and azaleas can communicate, educate, and cooperate with others via its publications, events, sales, and local/regional/international meetings, workshops, and conferences.
